Award Winner
With less than a year in operation, Black Ibex has won the 2018 Audio Engineering Voice Arts® Award for Society of Virtue’s Majestic, as well as 2017 Voice Arts® Award nomination.
The Studio
Black Ibex is conveniently located in the heart of Burbank. Our secured facility has a dedicated parking lot, ample common area with kitchen and conference room. Our acoustically tuned control room can be easily reconfigured and set up for recording, writing or mixing.

The engineer
Before Black Ibex
Fred graduated in Music Production and Engineering (MPE) with a minor in Acoustics And Electronics from Berklee College Of Music in 2015; got a degree in International Trade and Business Administration in 2003, and was active as a guitarist and producer for several years in Brazil.
Favorite gear
Eventide H3000 Harmonizer [because it’s fun] and Jazzmaster guitars.
Curiosity
Fred served in the Brazilian Army for 4 years.
